Far too often our girls are dealing with bullying and stories of being made to feel less than. I’m too excited to feature another young female entrepreneur who is turning her story of adversity into triumph.
My name is Zyann Daniels and I’m a 10 year old model, dancer, cheerleader, and boxer. My business name is Zyann Lip Balm “Chapped to Snapped”.
My business is an organic lip balm for all people. I’m a model and the type of lipstick and glosses that make up artists use tend to use made my lips dry. At one point, I was so ashamed to go to school. I was being made fun of because of my overdry lips.
My favorite thing about being a Black girl that rocks is that I can inspire others! They can love themselves the way that God loves them. I have a gap in my mouth and I have a unibow. I used to get teased for having them. But, I have learned how to embrace it over the years through encouragement of my Mom and family. I want other girls to feel comfortable embracing things about themselves too.
If you want to check out Chapped to Snapped you can reach out to Zyann and her mom at @zyannmodel
