If your daughter loves to write, you’ll want her to watch the Mom & Daughters Inc. interview with Madison McIntyre!
Madison realized that there were few books telling stories that she could relate to. So rather than getting frustrated, she took action. #atrueentrepreneur She secured her Mom’s support and started working with a writing coach. Through this process, she created characters and developed stories that she and her peers would recognize and had the books published.

She shared one of her stories in the interview. Pay attention around the 4:00 min time marker!
Madison is impressive. She didn’t stop with her first book and has written several books.
Plus I immediately fell in love with her second book, Madison’s World: A Bad Hair Day Daddy to the Rescue. I’ve spent hours watching Youtube tutorials on natural hair to learn how to better care for my daughter’s hair. But most of the tutorial I found are focused on the parent caring for their daughter’s hair. Madison changes the conversation by sharing a young girl’s perspective. It’s a powerful tribute to how young Black girls can wear their natural hair with pride.
She is already working on her next book and has a course, “How to Write Your Book in 90 Days.” If you are reading this and thinking “I’m too young to be an author,” you have a solution!!
Please visit the website and show support for her projects via social media and her website.
You can find details about her book writing course on her website at www.madisontheauthor.com.
Or follow her on social media. Her social media handles on FB and IG are @madisontheauthor.
Does it seem that your daughter is glued to her smart device? In the post-Christmas/Holiday season, there will be technically challenged adults receiving gifts. They won’t have a clue about how to operate […]
It’s a hotly debated topic. Should you GIVE your daughter an allowance? Let her earn it? Or should you wait until they start earning their own money? I’ll leave the final decision in your hands. But if you are considering an allowance, let me offer a tool that will help her manage money for life. […]
