It’s not easy to start a business. But smart entrepreneurs know you need to ask questions. Our most recent interviewee, Janiah, started with a powerful question of “What If?”. You don’t want to miss this most recent Mom & Daughters Inc interview.

We filmed before the 2020 Black Lives Matter protests took the national and international stage. It’s almost surreal that Janiah was aware long before the national wake up that Black Lives do matter. She challenged her customer to ask deeper questions by creating a tshirt line. It challenges people to think differently about the subject.
The interview caught me off guard. She described her start. After having a heavy conversation about race with her Dad, she wanted to change the narrative. Rather than getting upset, she was already starting to rolling up her sleeves as an activist.
At Mom & Daughters Inc, we celebrate that she made that move by adding an entrepreneurial element!
Janiah is going to launch a virtual Black history museum on her site. Check out the interview to learn more about it.

Bonus – Don’t miss the story of how she landed her first television interview. It was worth the price of admission! You’ll gain insight if you are a young girl who wants to launch her own business and is nervous about PR.
